  • Pledging is by far the best way to support the ministry of Christ Church is to pledge your yearly giving in advance. This allows us to plan our annual budget and programs more effectively and responsibly.

We encourage you to pledge as soon as possible; it would be extremely helpful if you relay your pledge by December 1st.

Pledges can be made by completing the form below, emailing marcy@christchurchcville.org or picking up a pledge card at church on Sunday.

  • AUTOMATIC GIVING WITH BILL PAY SERVICES

Another convenient way to support the ministry of Christ Church is to schedule your monthly pledge via the online bill pay services of your local bank. This is the electronic equivalent of writing a check. It’s fast, direct, and saves trees. You'll need to call the church at (434) 293-2347 to get the unique 4-digit account number. You might also need these contact details:

Please visit your on-line banking program and be sure that Christ Episcopal Church with our proper mailing address of 100 W. Jefferson Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902 is in place as your payee. Use your envelope number as your “account number” with Christ Church (it should be 4 digits – if you don’t have one, call the office and we’ll issue one). While there will not be an option to add a memo to your gift, if it needs to be designated other than for your pledge or normal giving, just let me or Lyn know via email or phone and we can make the proper notation for you.

GIVE TO THE CHRIST CHURCH PARISHIONERS FUND

The new Parishioners Fund exists solely to serve our very own church family! Let’s face it, there are times when our faithful members may temporarily fall into financial difficulty due to loss of income for a variety of reasons. The early church’s tradition of caring for its people began on the day of Pentecost when, as Acts 4:34-35 says, “there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales and lay them at the apostles’ feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need.”

The hope is that the Parishioners Fund will mirror that in some small way. Won’t you please join us in making a designated gift, whatever the amount, knowing that your contribution will eventually help a fellow parishioner through a time of great need? Be assured that all requests for financial support will be held in strictest confidence and screened only by a three-person Board of Trustees appointed by the Rector.

If you would like to add to this fund, please call or email Marcy at 293-2347 or marcy@christchurchcville.org.
