To serve our rapidly growing population of parishioners in their 20s and 30s, Christ Church hosts semi-regular social gatherings and organizes service opportunities, as well as small group Bible studies. For more information, or to sign up for the CEC 20s and 30s email list, please contact Dave Zahl at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bible Study Opportunities
- Women’s Bible study, led by Marilu Thomas, meets every Thursday, from 9-10 AM in the Gibson Room.
- Men’s Bible Study meets from 7-8 a.m. in the Gibson Room (downstairs). No Bible necessary. Bagels and coffee will be served courtesy of Bodo’s and Dunkin Donuts. Stale jokes courtesy of Paul Walker.
- 20-somethings: Every Tuesday, the Blue House “large group” Bible study meets from 8-9 p.m at the Blue House, 421 9th St NW. Great opportunity to get to know folks in a relaxed environment. Newcomers welcome! No kiddos unfortunately… If you have any questions, or would like to RSVP (recommended but not obligatory), contact Brooks Tate at email@example.com
Parish-Wide Dinner Series
- We’re doing another Wednesday evening dinner series this Fall, beginning 9/30 and running for six weeks, 6-7:30 p.m. The theme will be “Stories of Grace.” If it’s at all like last year, the food will be delicious, the company even more so, and the presentations most of all. Plus, childcare will be provided.
P.S. More information provided in the Fall Programs Guide!
