Katie Stiffler

After being in Charlottesville during my undergraduate years at  UVA, I was thrilled when my husband’s job brought us back here in 2012. Charlottesville has now become “home” to me, my husband, Kevin, and our 13-year old twins, Charlie and Abby, along with our dog and two cats. After working for fifteen years as a small animal veterinarian, I am currently taking a pause to be at home with our kids. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for our family to find Christ Church once we moved to Charlottesville. We were drawn in by the welcoming members, the many opportunities for service and community outreach, and the ever present messages of grace, forgiveness and love. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to  know the ladies of the Thursday morning Women’s Bible Study, and my children love  participating in Youth Group – even during the pandemic! I am so thankful to be a part of  the amazing fellowship of Christ Church, and I look forward to the day when we can step  into the sanctuary and worship again together.
