New Adult Education Class Beginning January 15th - “This American Gospel”
Starting this morning and running for six weeks, David Zahl and Ethan Richardson will be teaching a class based around the popular NPR program “This American Life.” Each week we’ll listen to a different human interest story that’s been featured on the show and discuss how it illustrates such Christian themes as forgiveness, grace, love, identity, death, adoption, and others. The hope is to ground the Gospel in the concerns and demands of everyday life, and have some fun doing so. If you are familiar with the show, you know how captivating and touching it can be. Gibson Room at 10 a.m.
ECW (Episcopal Church Women) Meeting & Retreat
The ECW will meet tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. in the Gibson room. Please join us! Women of Christ Church: Save February 24 and 25, 2012 for our annual Retreat. More information is in the January Messenger.

Our January newsletter is available at www.christchurchcville.org under Resources. There are also paper copies for those who want them—in the rack located on the usher’s table in the back and also on the bulletin board to your immediate left outside Meade Hall.
