Ben first got connected to Christ Church after moving to Charlottesville in July, 2021. He is originally from Kentucky, but grew up mostly in Europe and the Middle East where his parents taught in English-language international schools. Ben received a BA in History from Earlham College, an MA in International Affairs from Carleton University, and an MA in Teaching from Bellarmine University. Prior to joining the Christ Church, he worked six and a half years as a middle school teacher and several years in diverse nonprofit roles, while occasionally working for Mockingbird Ministries on the side. He loves living in Charlottesville with his wife Hannah and baby Lucy, and is enjoying getting to know everyone connected to Christ Church.
